When i look at my past and see the way he has moved me here and moved this person into my life, or taken away this thing or another, I know God loves me. He has put great people in my life and has put me in the lives of others, all at the right time.
I love nature. The world around me reminds me daily that God loves me. The walk from the library to my dorm takes about 4 minutes but I often take up to 20 minutes to traverse the whole quarter mile or so. Just walking along enjoying whatever God is showing me at that time, birds, trees, clouds, the sun. It’s a little ridiculous and I’ve had several people make fun of me for how slowly I walk but whenever I do this walk I’m able to focus on the beauty that’s all around me. It’s evident throughout the Bible that God created us to be rulers over the world and that we are his chosen creation here on this world. Seeing the beauties in nature remind me of how much God has given us on this Earth, and how insignificant I am yet how precious I am to Him. And then I get even more lost in love for God by remembering that he’s promised us an eternal home in Heaven that is infinately better than this Earth. That’s how I know God loves me.
