God calls us (like Hosea) to be obedient and faithful no matter what. Being obedient and faithful to God may bring shame, heartbreak, or persecution on this earth. God called Hosea to persevere, endure, and be faithful despite the circumstances, despite the heartbreak, and despite the pain. We are called to obedience not called to a life of heartache and grief. The focus should never be to question why the pain occurs but only to fulfill obedience to the call from Our God.
